I had the honor to create this piece for Locomotive: Tomorrow an Indie Management Niche Game in the making. It has an inspiring world that I could explore with this image.

It shows a sprawling train depot hall where sparks fly and metal hums with life. In this scene, welders work tirelessly, customizing locomotives to bring innovation to the tracks in a world that is in the middle of an economic crisis. Despite the harsh environment, I chose a warm color palette. Hinting at the reliance on oil as a main energy and light resource, also the future still holds hope.

This piece captures the raw energy and artistry behind industrial craftsmanship and the need of humanity to adapt and create new ways, through customization of what was assumed and outdated technology, to survive in a changing world.
